I am a mother to three children two who are my step-children. I work full-time and am usually very good about paying my bills ahead of time. I recently have gotten sick and have been in and out of the hospital. I also have to take my 6 month old son every one to two weeks to a doctor that is 4 1/2 hours away so that he can have adjustments made to his cranial remolding orthoses (helmet) for his Brachycephaly (extreme baby flat head), because he was stuck in the birth canal for too long. I don't want to ask for money, I would like to ask for suggestions on how I can catch up on my rent and electric so that my children have a safe place to rest at night. I also wanted to know if anyone had ideas on how to get help with the expenses on the cost to travel to my son's doctor office. I try to be as self suffient as possible and I don't want somebody thinking that I am just looking for a hand out. I'm not I simply want the advice from somebody who has been here and done this.
